New WW2 Zombie Experience Launches Below Waterloo Station
Customers travel to 1940 to face the undead in new London experience day.
LONDON, 18 June 2013 -- Britain's latest zombie experience launches on June 26, offering the chance to battle the undead in the tunnels below Waterloo Station.
Zombie Blitz 1940 will be available via experience days retailer Wish.co.uk, most famous for experiences like Zombie Shopping Mall
Participants are transported to 1940’s London during the Blitz. After take shelter during an air raid, a bomb blocks the only known exit and they are are forced to venture deeper into the tunnels to escape.
Once inside in near darkness, they come face to face with the German army’s most evil experiment yet: a zombie army.
The experience follows in the footsteps of immersive theatre shows like You Me Bum Bum Train, while adding period vintage costumes, authentic military equipment – plus zombies.
Richard Kershaw, co-founder of Wish.co.uk, says:
“History tells us the two things to be vigilant about are dictators and zombies. We want our customers to be fully prepared for both.
This experience is available for a strictly limited period and is created by same team of zombie experts behind Zombie SWAT Training.
The venue – “The Vaults” - is three minutes walk from Waterloo Station and the South Bank and opposite the former Old Vic Tunnels.
Customers travel from around the world to take part in Wish.co.uk’s zombie experiences, following coverage in 30+ countries, including the BBC, The Sun, Fox News and New York Post.
